Triple premiership Lion Jonathan Brown has urged Essendon players to channel the same attitude coach Brad Scott showed as a player, claiming Bombers teams over the past two decades “don’t really put the fear of god into you”.
The Bombers were seemingly well placed to feature in September this year, sitting fifth on the ladder after Round 17.
But Scott’s troops spectacularly fell out of finals contention, losing five of their last seven games – including their final two by 126 points to the Giants and 70 points to Collingwood.
