There’s uncertainty surrounding Bailey Smith’s future at the Western Bulldogs despite the club’s firm stance he’s not going anywhere.
Smith has been linked to trade reports throughout the year amid talk of unhappiness with his role at the Dogs, having been pushed out of the midfield, with Geelong most consistently linked to the 22-year old.
Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains said last week Smith was a required player at Whitten Oval, telling Channel 7: “(He’s) contracted for next year, so as far as we’re concerned, that’s that.”
