Ange Postecoglou beats former Socceroos boss Guus Hiddink with staggering Premier League record as unbeaten Spurs go top of the table

Ange Postecoglou has set the record for the most points earned by a Premier League manager in their first nine games in charge, after Tottenham returned to the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Fulham.

Son Heung-min opened the scoring after 36 minutes, mazing his way around the Fulham defence before blasting the ball into the back of the net.

James Maddison followed up to claim his fourth Premier League goal of the season and continue his fine start to the new campaign.

Postecoglou has now claimed the most points by a Premier League manager in their first nine games with 23 out of a possible 27.
