Brownlow medallist Adam Cooney believes playing prized Pick 1 Jason Horne-Francis in the VFL last week in his return from suspension might’ve been the “nail in the coffin” for David Noble’s departure as North Melbourne coach.
It’s been widely reported on Tuesday morning that Noble is set to stand down amid the club’s horror 1-15 season including a dire 14-game losing streak, currently sitting 18th on the ladder.
The news comes as long-time football administrator Geoff Walsh was brought in last month to conduct an intense review of the club’s football department.
