Stuart Broad has brought the curtain down on an illustrious cricket career for club and country.
He ended in fine style with a wicket to win the final Ashes Test against Australia to level the series.
It was a perfect and emotional moment for Broad – even if the urn did head back Down Under.
The 37-year-old says goodbye to a career that saw him take 952 first class wickets, including 604 in Test matches.
The very first of those wickets came in his debut for Leicestershire against Durham University back in 2005.
His first victim was Nick Lamb, who admitted it didn’t take too long for the future England legend to get him out.
