Collingwood coach Craig McRae has revealed there’s a been a “slight shift” in Jordan De Goey’s mood as the club hopes to welcome him back into the fold.
The Magpies put a turbulent week behind it to hold off a late Giants run on Sunday at the MCG and prevail by 11 points without De Goey, extending their winning streak to five games for the first time since 2019.
De Goey has been on personal leave from the club after copping a $25,000 suspended fine and having his contract talks put on hold after his Bali incident, but apologised for his behaviour in a video released by the club.
