The first six weeks of the NBL season are done with a break now for the FIBA window with one team having already cut an import, the reigning MVP on the market, a glaring weakness for the reigning champs, injury to a top-rated Next Star and under fire Perth Wildcats import firing.
It was quite the dramatic Round 6 in the NBL before the competition takes a general break over the next week to allow for FIBA international matches take place with players available.
There was plenty to take stock of as well with Brady Manek showing his potential for the Wildcats, Rayan Rupert injuring his wrist, the Brisbane Bullets won again while farewelling Devondrick Walker with Jaylen Adams now available with his former Sydney Kings team again struggling at the free-throw line.
