Blum started the third and final day of the Golf Vlaanderen LETAS Trophy with a one shot lead after opening with rounds of 69-67, and despite some final day wobbles managed to hold on to claim victory by the same margin.
After an early birdie, Blum was clearly the player to beat and it was fellow WPGA Tour of Australasia regular Momoka Kobori of New Zealand who looked the most likely challenger.
But the 24-year-old Blum managed to hold on and sign for a three-over round of 75, with Kobori in a four-way tie for second.
“I was very nervous the last few holes and just tried to focus on my breathing,” Blum, who finished the tournament on five-under, told the circuit’s website. “I had no idea where I sat on the leaderboard, so I just had to keep doing my thing and I’m glad it was enough.”
