Tennis great John McEnroe believes Alex de Minaur can pull off the biggest scalp of his budding career if Novak Djokovic enters their Australian Open clash underdone.
The duo never played each other and Djokovic is the short-priced favourite, but he’s also battling a hamstring complaint.
De Minaur, 23, has dropped just one set en route to the fourth round, while 35-year-old Djokovic has been made to work harder for his wins.
