In a major sport and tourism coup, Perth is set to host some of Australia’s top women’s soccer players in an exclusive, first-of-its-kind event later this year.
After already announcing plans on Sunday to bring Supercars to Perth in 2026, the WA government confirmed the Perth International Football Cup will take place in August and September.

Women’s Super League teams Manchester City, West Ham United, Leicester City and Paris Saint-Germain women’s teams will head to Perth for the week-long competitive exhibition tournament.
Matildas stars Mary Fowler, Alanna Kennedy, Mackenzie Arnold, Katrina Gorry, Clare Hunt and Courtney Nevin are among the current players set to compete in the four teams.
