Melbourne Victory vs Melbourne City, protesters, pitch invasion, sanctions, life bans, police investigation

Another seven bans have been given to spectators involved in the now-infamous match between Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory in December.

Chaos ensued after violent behaviour of fans during the match, in which more than 150 spectators stormed the AAMI Park field during the first half of the match.

The latest round of bans brings the total count to 17, with more still on the table as Football Australia works with Victoria Police on other persons of interest.
