Socceroo Jordan Bos’ record-breaking move to Belgium has been confirmed by Melbourne City on Tuesday.

It will break the record for the sale of an A-League player, which currently stands at $1.4 million, which English Premier League giants Manchester City paid Melbourne City in 2016 for the services of another Socceroo, Aaron Mooy.
Westerlo finished seventh is this season’s Belgian Pro League and are currently contesting playoffs.
Bos has made 50 appearances in all competitions for Melbourne City and debuted for the Socceroos in March against Ecuador.
He will link up with his new Belgian club once City’s A-League season comes to an end.
