Former Wallaby Andrew Blades has returned to the Waratahs as their new General Manager in an effort to help turn around the struggling state of rugby in Australia. He will also assist with coaching the scrum alongside new forwards coach Pauli Taumoepeau. Blades has a long history in Australian rugby, including serving as an assistant coach under Eddie Jones at the Brumbies and with the Wallabies under Robbie Deans and Ewen McKenzie. His dedication to the sport and experience at both the national and club level make him a valuable asset to the Waratahs as they work to improve their performance and the state of rugby in Australia.
