The Rabbitohs are on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Broncos 22-12 with Latrell Mitchell starring in his Origin audition.

With a spot in the centres for NSW up for grabs, all eyes were on Mitchell and he didn’t disappoint, scoring a try, setting another up and running 173 metres.

The Rabbitohs were up and about from the moment the game was kicked off and got on the board first through veteran hooker Damien Cook, who has been in the headlines this week after attracting interest from the Dragons.

Cook saw that the Broncos’ markers had switched off — and Brendan Piakura had his back turned — so took the opportunity to dart over from dummy-half.
