Ryan Webb confirms St George Illawarra is eyeing Shane Flanagan for vacant coaching role, Dragons news

St George Illawarra chief executive Ryan Webb has revealed the club is eyeing former Sharks premiership-winning coach Shane Flanagan as a potential candidate to fill the vacant role at the Dragons next year.

On Saturday, Webb confirmed that Flanagan was on a short-list of coaches to take over the role, despite reported misgivings from influential board powerbroker Peter Doust.
