Rugby Australia are pursuing Joseph Suaalii with a multimillion-dollar deal that could see him follow in the footsteps of Israel Folau and Sonny Bill Williams.
The Roosters teenager earlier this month triggered his player option to remain at the Tricolours in 2024, but the exit door remains wide open at the end of next season.
Signing with RA from the end of 2024 would allow Suaalii enough time to join a Super Rugby club and prepare for the Wallabies’ series against the British and Irish Lions in mid-2025.
