Eddie Jones finalises his coaching staff

Former Wallabies star Berrick Barnes has joined Australia’s coaching staff as a part-time kicking consultant.

Barnes, who represented Australian in 51 Tests between 2007 and 2013 and started his career in the NRL with Brisbane, is among a handful of fresh faces who have been brought into the Wallabies’ set-up for this year’s Rugby Championship and World Cup by recently appointed national coach Eddie Jones.

London Irish assistant coach Brad Davis, 55, will assist Jones in coaching the Wallabies’ attack, while ACT Brumbies assistant and ex-Wallabies prop Dan Palmer has been appointed as lineout coach.

Palmer will work with forwards co-ordinator Neal Hatley, who will join the staff once his commitments with Bath are completed at the end of the English Premiership season.
