Parramatta enforcer Junior Paulo left the field early in the second half with a suspected foot injury in his side’s loss to the Rabbitohs on Thursday night.
Paulo appeared to have suffered the injury in a tackle with Damien Cook and Tom Burgess in the 43rd minute of the clash.
Fox League’s sideline commentator Lara Pitt said Paulo’s injury was being assessed by Parramatta’s medical staff in the sheds.

“He came from the field in quite some discomfort limping on that right foot,” Pitt said.
Not long after, Pitt reported the front rower was still in the sheds and while Eels medical staff failed to completely rule him out she explained “he’s highly unlikely to return at this stage”.
