Sydney Roosters forward Brandon Smith was in vintage form while discussing teammate Joseph Suaalii’s bombshell code switch, boldly claiming “a $1.6 million winger from the Roosters isn’t going to help (the Wallabies) beat the All Blacks”.
On Saturday, Suaalii officially signed with Rugby Australia and the NSW Waratahs, informing the Roosters he’ll leave the NRL club at the end of next season.
