Out-of-contract Western Bulldog Mitch Hannan won’t be offered a new deal at Whitten Oval, the club announced on Tuesday.
Hannan made 30 appearances at the Bulldogs among 80 career games. He was traded from Melbourne in 2020.
He managed six games in 2023 but only one after Round 14. He ruptured his Achilles earlier this month, an injury that was set to rule him out for much of 2024.
In a club statement, Bulldogs list manager Sam Power praised Hannan for his efforts at the Dogs, including his performance in the 2021 Grand Final.
The club has informed Mitch Hannan he will not be offered a contract for 2024.
We thank Mitch for his contribution to the Club and wish him all the best in the future ❤️https://t.co/Q1VEGC7jV1
