Phil Mickelson eyes seventh major at Oak Hill, weight loss, photo

At this year’s Masters Champions Dinner, Phil Mickelson sat quietly, ate his meal, and left.

For those that know the 52-year-old, whose attendance was a potential flashpoint given his defection to LIV Golf and his larger-than-life personality, it came as a massive shock.

“Phil sat near the end of the table and kept to himself. He didn’t speak at all,” 1979 Masters winner Fuzzy Zoeller told the Augusta Chronicle.

1973 champion Tommy Aaron added: “I couldn’t believe how quiet he was. Phil took a very low profile. He didn’t say a word.”
