Augusta National Golf Club will be the centre of the sporting world this weekend, hosting the illustrious Masters for a 87th time.
The tournament, first played in 1934, serves as the first men’s major of the season, with 89 competitors battling for the famed green jacket.

Participation in the Masters is by invitation only, and the tournament has the smallest field of the major championships. American star Scottie Scheffler, currently No. 1 on the World Golf Rankings, will be hoping to become the first consecutive champion since Tiger Woods achieved the rare feat in 2001 and 2002.
