Australia’s Masters challenge petered out on Monday morning in disastrous fashion with lead player Jason Day imploding, while Adam Scott and Cameron Smith didn’t fare much better.
It was a Masters to forget from an Australian perspective with no one from the five-strong contingent finishing inside the top 30 players.
Min Woo Lee and Harrison Crowe didn’t make the cut, leaving it to the old guard of Day, Scott and Smith to fly the Australian flag.
And while Day started the major well, his tournament ended with a major implosion, while Scott and Smith also faded away.
