Brooks Koepka says more players to join

Dustin Johnson says there’s room for “a couple more” teams to strengthen the LIV product which he and his fellow players believe has moved past the strong early criticism for its Saudi Arabian connections to be a destination for their peers.

LIV CEO and Commissioner Greg Norman declared there was a “long list” of hopeful players looking to join the fledgling tour which will play in front of sold-out crowds in Adelaide this week on a course lauded as being “spectacular” by the visitors.

Last-start winner Brooks Koepka agreed with Norman and while he wasn’t actively recruiting the players he saw constantly at home in Florida, said there was enough to suggest movement was afoot.

“I haven’t spoken to anybody that’s on that level to be like, hey, are you coming over to play. It’s not my style. It’s not usually how I approach anybody,” Koepka said on Wednesday….
