Adam Scott misses two-foot putt, prize money, result, position

Adam Scott couldn’t find the spark in the final round of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow with Wyndham Clark running away with a big four-shot win.

The tournament had a massive increase in prize money, going from a purse of $9 million (A$13.3m) last year to $20 million (A$29.6m) this year, with Clark taking home $3.6m for his 19-under tournament.

Scott shared a tie for fifth with Tommy Fleetwood at eight shots back, but will be disappointed having started the day five shots behind Clark.
