Brisbane’s Dayne Zorko and Fremantle’s Jaeger O’Meara have both failed in their bids at the AFL Tribunal.
Zorko and the Lions attempted to overturn a one-match ban for unnecessary or unreasonable contact to the eye region of Adelaide’s Luke Pedlar, while Fremantle tried to downgrade O’Meara’s one-match ban for a dangerous tackle.
The failures at the Tribunal mean Zorko will miss next week’s game against Hawthorn, while O’Meara will miss the clash with Fremantle.
