Freshly re-signed Fremantle star Nat Fyfe has admitted mock-ups of him in different footy guernseys hammered home the idea of staying at the Dockers.
This week, Fyfe signed a two-year deal to remain at Fremantle until the end of 2025, by which point he will be nearing his mid-30s.
Fyfe had interest from several other clubs – mainly on the east coast – but dealt exclusively with Fremantle on a new deal before ultimately putting pen to paper this week.

Mock-up images of him in different jumpers helped convince Fyfe he would retire a one-club player.
“I saw a picture of me in the different jumpers and it just didn’t hit,” he told 7 News Perth.
“It wasn’t me, that was never going to happen.”
