Michael Voss’ future at Carlton Blues, coach, factions developing from players, questions at board level, report, latest news

Blues coach Michael Voss is “coaching for his career” at the club as “factions” have started to appear within the playing group, according to Nine journalist Sam McClure.

Carlton has just one win from its last eight games to slump to 14th on the ladder as one of the most underwhelming sides of 2023 despite being widely tipped to end a 10-year finals drought.

The growing pressure on the club and Voss prompted Blues president Luke Sayers to front the media last week to throw his support behind the coach, ensuring Voss would see out his contract and remain at the helm in 2024.
