Hawthorn president Andy Gowers admits it was “hard” to read the damning statement issued by three former players, including four-time premiership star Cyril Rioli on Friday night.
Gowers said the fact ex-players, including Jermaine Miller-Lewis and Carl Peterson, claim they endured racism at the club “does not sit well” with those currently involved at the Hawks.
