Erik Ten Hag is reportedly looking to partner Kobbie Mainoo in Manchester United’s midfield alongside Mason Mount.
The 18-year-old wonderkid was named in the Red Devils’ starting XI on Sunday as United won 3-0 with relative ease against Everton, with Mainoo earning rave reviews.
Highly rated already at the club as per Gary Neville, Mainoo looks set to become the latest superstar to emerge from United’s academy, and Ten Hag seemingly now has a plan for the midfielder involving Mount.
According to the Independent, the Dutch manager wants to partner Mainoo in the midfield with the former Chelsea playmaker, who is yet to find any sort of form at United since joining this summer.
