Geelong champion Jimmy Bartel has implored Carlton midfielder Paddy Dow to not “get sucked into the sales pitch” and seek a fresh start at season‘s end, after being overlooked for senior selection once again.
Despite a spate of injuries at Princes Park, Dow was not named for the Blues‘ crunch clash with the Demons on Friday night at the MCG.
Michael Voss’ side is without without George Hewett (concussion), Nic Newman (hamstring), Marc Pittonet (hand), Corey Durdin (knee) and Ollie Hollands (collarbone), while Ed Curnow was dropped – yet Dow was not among the inclusions.
