Arsenal 20yo facing months out after ‘worst tackle’

In the wake of their recent Viaplay Cup defeat against St Mirren, Motherwell may face another significant setback. The club’s on-loan striker from Arsenal, Mika Biereth, suffered a knee injury during the match.

The looming concern is that Biereth might be side-lined for several months due to the injury which followed an awful tackle from St Mirren’s Charles Dunne.

Motherwell’s management, under the guidance of boss Stuart Kettlewell, is anxiously awaiting the results of the striker’s knee scan.

If the initial concerns are accurate, this would undoubtedly be a severe blow to Motherwell, affectionately known to their fans as the Steelmen.
