The All Australian squad of 44 has been revealed and as always there are a number of players who can count themselves unlucky not to make it. SEE THE FULL SQUAD HERE

AFL: Geelong always do their post season celebrations right, and this year the early few costumes that have come out are superb.

The league chose an All Australian 44 that has at least one player from every side in another indication of how even the AFL season has been.

Collingwood’s players in the All Australian 44 were Nick and Josh Daicos, Jordan De Goey, Darcy Moore and Isaac Quaynor but Jamie Elliott missed out despite an excellent season.

Carlton’s Cerra and Nic Newman, Cats pair Cameron and Gryan Miers, GWS defender Sam Taylor, Essendon’s Nic Martin and Sydney pair Luke Parker and Isaac Heeney were all missing in the list of 44.
