Power ‘wholeheartedly’ makes its official call on The Voice

Port Adelaide has become the latest AFL club to declare its official position on changing the constitution to include a First Nation’s Voice.

Education Minister Jason Clare says the Voice to Parliament will support Indigenous students and will not leave anyone behind in academics.

The Power has also said it full supports the South Australian Voice to Parliament.

Earlier this year the AFL officially declared its support for the Yes vote in the upcoming referendum.

A number of individual clubs have since come out outlining their support for an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

On Monday the Power joined them.

In a statement Port Adelaide said its board and management “wholeheartedly supports the recognition of First Nations people in the Constitution”.
