A six-year-old footy fanatic from Newcomb will be the envy of his school when he takes centre stage at the MCG at this year’s AFL Grand Final.

Hunter Armstrong has secured a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be one of 23 starry-eyed youngsters who will get to present premiership medals to players from the winning team following Saturday week’s big game.

And if the Newcomb Power FC and East Geelong FC player gets his way, he will be lining up to hand one of the prized medallions to a member of his beloved Magpies.

Like a true Pies fan, Hunter is quietly confident his team will come through – probably.
