AFLPA Most Valuable Player awards, best first year player, most courageous, best captain

The AFL Players’ Association has revealed all of the contenders in line to take out the 2023 MVP awards.

The players’ union this week released the nominees for the MVP, best first-year player and most courageous awards.

Three players from each club were put forward for the MVP Award as part of a two-stage voting process. Players nominated their teammates in stage one before selecting from a competition-wide field in stage two where players can’t vote for their own teammates.
