A former NBA player is stealing the show at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
With an average of 31.5 points per game, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is the tournament’s second-leading scorer through two games, trailing only Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic.
Hollis-Jefferson’s 24-point outing against Greece went viral because of how much he looked like Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. He followed it up with the highest-scoring game of the World Cup so far, a performance that included a poster dunk and a four-point play to force overtime.
Hollis-Jefferson isn’t doing it with the USA across his chest, though. Despite being a native of Chester, Pennsylvania, he’s playing for Jordan.
