In New Orleans, a flurry of late scoring from C.J. McCollum led the Pelicans to a 113-106 victory over the Dallas Mavericks as Luka Doncic was held to just 15 points.
McCollum finished with 32 points – 13 of them coming in the final four minutes of the game – as the Pels claimed a deserved win.
But most worryingly for the Mavericks, Doncic will undergo an MRI on Thursday (US time) to figure out how severe his left thigh strain is.

Asked how the thigh, which has been bothering him for some time, felt Doncic told reporters: “It’s not good.”
“I think it was the second game after the All-Star break. Something like that.”
