NBL owner Larry Kestelman says league has spoken with Bronny James’ management, in the mix to bring him to Australia, Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James son playing in NBL, team news, results.

Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is in his last year of high school at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles but isn’t eligible to enter the NBA draft until 2024, meaning he will soon choose a destination to play basketball during his gap year before joining his dad in the big leagues.

If NBL bosses get their way, according to News Corp, LeBron James Jr. could be soon be headed down under to ply his trade in Australia’s top pro league later this year as part of the NBL’s ‘Next Stars’ program – whereby players who are considered legitimate draft prospects in the coming season can be signed to a contract by the league itself.
