The young Aussie had a difficult start against Minnesota as his Thunder ended the first quarter one point down 24-23. Giddey went 0-2 on shot attempts early on before a turnover, and was the first Oklahoma City player to be substituted. When he returned late in the quarter, he immediately made another turnover.
Early in the second quarter, Giddey continued to struggle with the defensive pressure of the Timberwolves, appearing flustered as he battled to find his rhythm.
