Philadelphia superstar and MVP candidate Joel Embiid was left in disbelief after teammate James Harden was inexplicably ejected in Game 3 of the 76ers’ playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets.
The controversial decision came just in the latter stages of the third quarter as the Sixers gave up a 13-point lead to set up a thrilling finish against a desperate Nets side.
Harden was hit with an offensive foul for a low blow on Royce O’Neal, with it later deemed to be a flagrant-2 foul and automatic ejection for the Sixers star.
Teammate Embiid watched on in shock as Harden, who finished the game with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists, left the court.
