The Los Angeles Lakers have been dealt a crushing blow to their playoff hopes, with superstar LeBron James set for an extended stint on the sidelines.
That is according to NBA insider Shams Charania, who reported on Tuesday that the Lakers are “bracing” for James to miss “multiple weeks” with the right foot injury he picked up in a 111-108 win over the Mavericks.
James scored 26 points in the comeback win over Dallas, which lifted the Lakers to a third-straight victory and 29-32 record. They currently sit 12th in the Western Conference.
