Harry Froling victim of one-punch attack in Wollongong, Brisbane Bullets player, brain surgery, latest news

Brisbane Bullets player Harry Froling was allegedly the victim of a one-punch assault in Wollongong which fractured his skull and required brain surgery.

NSW Police believe Froling was punched in the head while out in the early hours of Sunday morning, following a win over the Illawarra Hawks. The 24-year-old was found on the footpath on Crown Street.

He suffered a fractured skull and bleed on the brain but News Corp reports after being hospitalised in Wollongong, and Froling refused to undergo a head CT scan.

He then reportedly removed the intravenous drip and discharged himself from hospital, flying home to Brisbane with the rest of his team.
