Australian basketball great Andrew Gaze has been left dumbfounded by claims Bryce Cotton’s bid for citizenship has lost governing body support, labelling the move “outright stupidity”.
Perth Wildcats star Cotton remains on track for an impressive fourth NBL MVP title as his two-year battle for Australian citizenship continues to roll on.
But alarmingly reports emerged this week that the US-born Cotton had lost the support of Basketball Australia in his bid to become a citizen.
