Star Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards exploded on his home floor, producing a season-high 44 points and two gobsmacking dunks over the same opponent as the Houston Rockets were handed their 13th straight loss.
In his first 40-plus point game of the season, Edwards went 17 of 29 from the field – including eight of 16 from three-point territory – while adding six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and three seals as Minnesota claimed a 113-104 win over Houston.
But it was Edwards’ two dunks over Houston’s Alperen Sengun that had Timberwolves teammates, commentators and fans catching their breath.
