Josh Giddey’s Oklahoma City teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has made the cut as superstars Joel Embiid and Ja Morant headlined the NBA All-Star reserves list.
Gilgeous-Alexander missed out on being named as a starter for the Western Conference, with Giddey declaring via Twitter that his Thunder teammate was “robbed.”

However, Gilgeous-Alexander will get to play in his first All-Star game alongside fellow first-timers Jaren Jackson Jr., Lauri Markkanen and Tyrese Hailburton.
Embiid and Morant are just two of the big names included in the reserves list, with Damian Lillard and Chris Paul also making the cut in what will be their seventh and eighth All-Star appearance respectively.
