NRL supercoach’s old waterfront home sold for $4m+

NRL legendary coach Des Hasler has a good eye for more than just football, as shown by the sale of this blue chip property.

Now those buyers have scored at least $620,000 profit on the sale of the harbourside unit selling it for more than $4m prior to auction. Robert and Linda Bramley held the elegant Holbrook Ave apartment for two years and had an auction guide of $3.75m.

The home boasts cracking water views.

The couple bought the luxury pad privately from Des and Christine Hasler drawn by the big view, spacious rooms, and proximity to the Kirribilli wharf. COSO Architecture had redesigned the apartment, turning a three-bedroom unit into an oversized two-bedder with a large walk-in wardrobe.

Number 3/19 Holbrook Ave was due to be auctioned on Saturday August 19 but a standout buyer from interstate, who had rented in the famous The Walder block, flew into Sydney a full week beforehand and sealed the deal.
