One of Australia’s most famous TV characters just can’t take the stress as the Matildas take on England’s Lionesses in Sydney.

The fictional character from Australian comedy series Kath & Kim played by Magda Szubanski took to social media just before the start of the Matildas game against England on Wednesday night.
Just like pretty much everyone else — she was extremely nervous about what was about to unfold.
“Hi, it’s me Sharon,” Szubanski said in character as the accident-prone netball-loving Sharon.
“I’m a bit frazzled, as is my hair…. just the stress. The stress of the game, after Saturday [the game against France] I’ve got all these carbuncles and they joined into one giant carbuncle and I ended up in hospital.
