As the Wallabies prepare to take on England on Saturday in their series decider in Sydney, World Rugby board member Bart Campbell’s position in the game is coming under renewed appraisal for his “conflict of interest”.

It comes as Campbell – the former Melbourne Storm chair turned New Zealand Rugby board member – is overseeing the ‘Winter Festival of Football’ about to take place in Australia.

Four of England’s biggest football clubs, including Manchester United, will play in seven friendlies on Australian soil over the next fortnight.
