Rugby union legend Toutai Kefu has broken his silence for the first time since an alleged horror home invasion that left him fighting for life.
Mr Kefu took to Facebook on Wednesday in the first major update since he was hospitalised with serious stab wounds on Monday.
His wife Rachel and two children, Josh and Madi, were also seriously injured during the alleged incident.
“Humbling to see the outpouring of love and well wishes from family, friends, community members and the general public,” he posted on Wednesday afternoon.
“We are doing well.
“Josh, Madi and myself are out of hospital and we’re hoping Rach will be able to join us tomorrow.”
